I think that Trelawny managed to saver her. Lavender was still breathing when Trelawny throw the crystal ball at Greyback. If Lavender died, it would have said. She had a closer connection to the trio than Colin, but Colin was one of those named and that makes me think that Lavender would have been named as well, if she was amongst the dead.

unbelievable picture. you can find calibration settings on cnet. I agree...contrast ratios are overrated....amazing picture and clarity. I also purchased the cheetah mount and had this tv on the wall in less than an hour. saved a lot of money compared to buying at bestbuy etc.

no negatives about this TV at all. I was comparing this to the Samsung and Sony V series....just got a heck of deal on this and I am not looking back.

After returning a defective Samsung LN-52A550, I decided to give this a try. Bhoy I made the right decision! Ignore any contrast ratio rating by so called experts. This is the one to own. Aquos picture is the best in the business. Clarity of pictures is so amazing. So crisp on HDTV, that we can't help on watching more blu-ray on it. I also use this as an awesome monitor while I type this review. Never again will I stray on another Korean brand like Samsung. Their quality and customer service is pathetic. I was also considering the SONY KDL-52V4100. Picture is not close to this Aquos. You have to get their XBR series to land a crisp picture compared to this Aquos.

Pros: 5Hdmi, 4ms response time . Slimmest of the bunch,3.0 Energy Certified. Amazing picture with correct setting, great design, Japanese quality,exceptional customer serice. This is Acura, Lexus of televisions

All last year Husby and I looked at TV's, compared prices, sizes and most importantly quality! Finally, he found one and he hasn't been able to take his eyes off of it. So we have another big-screen television! Currently this TV is sitting in our bedroom while we try to figure out where to move the 46/48 inch RCA that's currently in the living room.

Now I'm not all "technical" when it comes to TV's. The only thing I need is for it to power on when I want it, a remote and mute if the conversation on the phone gets good. Don't tell husby, but I'm starting to dig his newest toy. I love that it's a flat-screen. It'll add more room to the living room and it looks like you're at the movies. Not to mention I can hook my PC up to it. DAMN... I can't even imagine how that would look.

Don't think all you have to do is plug it in because it's a little more complicated than that but not too much so. Picture and sound quality is exceptional especially on HD. Some of the remote functions are a little confusing at first but if all else fails, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. We love the big screen in our basement rec room.

Which LCD TV is the best one.. Sony, Samsung, Sharp?

I am looking to buy an LCD TV.. I am down to 3 choices that are very similar in price.. The three are Sony Bravia 52" KDL52V4100 or Samsung 52" LN52A550 or Sharp Aquos 52" LC52D65U... Which of these three is the better TV and why?

According to what I see come back after purchase Sony is the best. Mind you any of the three you mention are great TVs. You'll be happy with any of them.

I've had this TV for about 3 weeks now and I am very pleased thus far. I did an agonizing amount of research and this seemed like the best deal for a 52" TV. I went with the 120HZ as I heard it enhanced viewing sports and was a definate plus with Blu Ray (which I do not yet have). I cant really judge this feature as I have no point of reference. HD programming looks outstanding as do DVD's. I expected bad sound and this was the case. But a few days ago we switched from Direct TV to Comcast and my wife and I were stunned at how much better the TV sounded. Night and day. Why this is I do not know....
The blacks on this screen are very dark and look outstanding. Just watched "The Descent" which is an extremely dark movie and it looked just great.
Anyway I recommend this TV if you are looking for an affordable 52" from a reputable manufacturer.

This tv is great i love it you need a blueray to see what it can really do but even in 1080i and 720p it is good buy it!! You will like it. Setting are easy too and goes great with my samsung home threater system.

i bought this TV in Jan09 and am still loving it. I'm not very technical but i love the clarity and color. Haven't figured everything out yet but if you just to watch a great clear picture with or without HD input this TV is great.

CONS: had problems getting it delivered. Had to take a couple of days off to get it delivered. nothing to do with product.

This is a good tv. I bought it for my room so it's not bad at all. If it's for your main viewing tv, then you should go with something else if you have the money.

I rate nothing perfect because that's saying there is nothing about the TV product that could be improved. Well, I've had the TV since January and no problems. The only thing Sharp could have done is improve the speakers. But I have my own surround-sound system, so I don't use the TV's internal speakers, and I doubt anyone else does. If you can afford a TV this nice, don't be a tightwad, go ahead and buy yourself a nice sound system.

If this TV lasts as long as my Sharp microwave, I'll be a Sharp customer for life. How old is my microwave, you ask? I bought it in 1984 and it's still crankin' like new! Yes, you read that right, like new.

Both really good. I own a samsung and could not be more happy. Both sharp and samsung are good and look nice too. I did not go and looked up any extra details so theres some specs I am unsure about. You want at least 3xHDMI inputs the Sharp I think said it had 5. That might be too many. 3-4 is probably good enough unless you are a high end gamer. Then you will want a PS3 , Nintendos next console not the wii , and xbox 360 as well as a Blueray or HD cable hooked up. So figure out how many HDMI inputs you need. I bet both of theses T.Vs have at least 4 then you should be good there. About the actual specs they are close enough that it really does not matter. If you can afford it get the samsung thats what I suggest.
